Commercial Account Manager
My most recent job was with a large Independent Agency where I worked for 25 ½ yrs as a “Risk Transfer Specialist” (Account Executive) and commercial
account Manager handling Japanese global mfg accounts, many machine shops, and diversified accounts.
Prior to that, I supervised a personal lines dept at a medium sized agency for 6 yrs and handled 1/3 of accounts and almost all VIP clients.
Before going back to the agency side, I worked at Commercial Union (now Liberty) in the jumbo accounts division as an asst underwriter.
Back in the 80’s, it would take 9 months to issue the renewal for large accounts due to the time involved in gathering information.
This was before email. Computers were just for accounting.
I’ve lived in Anderson for all but 3 yrs of my life (had to move to Indy in my 20’s to experience life away from home).
I experienced a lot of the challenges/changes Anderson went through over the past 50-60 years
I am a known DIY’er (and control freak) & love to garden, various crafts and shopping. I can’t carry a tune, so I promise not to sing in the office.
Since I’m also a known workaholic, I cherish the time I get to spend with friends and family.
I look forward to growing the agency and glad to be a part of a team that’s passionate about Anderson businesses and growth.
